Enjoying Nai Yang Beach

The first beach we visited once we arrived to Phuket was Nai Yang Beach. It was a short walk away from our Seapines Villa Liberg, where we were staying. We loved it immediately, because it was spacious and not too crowded. It was just the perfect place to be with kids! kids on beach

This beach is very popular with Thai locals as well as tourists! You can rent an umbrella with 2 mats for only $5 a day. However the downfall is that you will have to stay in the most crowded part of the beach. If you are willing to take a short walk though further down you will barely find anyone. The trees will help you have some shade, the sand is soft enough that it will comfortable to lay on. You will enjoy true peace and quite…..maybe except for the presence of your kids!

The beach is in part inside Sirinath National Park. Once the sun is too hot you can sneak in the park area, enjoy the breeze or lay on an hammock and take a nap. Once you get hungry there are plenty of delicious restaurants everywhere. They all serve Thai and some European food as well. Which is helpful if you have picky eaters.beach restaurants

If you want to relax even more then you can step in one of the many massage places. Some ladies will do it right on the beach!

As you can imagine your days will be very busy between beach, shopping, relaxing and having great meals. Isn’t this what vacation should be all about?!
